Whats peoples plans on here for the great day?

Unfortunately I have to work during the day but I will be visiting several pubs in Sunderland on the night time for music and plenty of Guinness.

Daughter wants to go to parade but I will avoid town. Last time I brought them 2 years ago I said never again. It wasn't the drunk teenagers. It the adult tourists who hadn't a care in the world pushing the kids out of the way to get a better view.

Will look for a smaller parade like rathcoole of naas.

I'm bringing my kids into the parade in town for the first time. Usually just head along to a small one locally. My 5 year old says she wants to go to the parade that's on TV so will just have to go for it this year.

Will head home straight after it. The City Centre is full of knobs on Patrick's day. Apart from getting a day off work, I hate the day.

I live in Newcastle so I normally go to the one in Rathcoole. Grand job, only lasts an hour or so.

Stag do in Killarney. Which is coinciding with a traveler protest in the town on Friday. I'd imagine that will liven up proceedings

Drop into your Local Des Kellys and borrow one of those yokes with the Carpet samples in them. Just carry it around and you'll be grand, they wont do wan of their own at a protest about how sound they are.Thumbs Up *

*The above post is only in jest and an attempt at lighthearted banter with absolutely no basis in fact (seriously, not one basis in fact) and infers no guilt at all on any section of the 'community' as being carpet salesmen.
