Hugely disappointing. I would love to see the criteria that the winning bid met to see off Saints bid.

it's a pity alright, (the housing aspect is fine) but the new plans don't fill me with much confidence that a retail unit will do anything to ehance the area. It's all fairly rundown in the village, and if they'd added some decent ammenities it should have a kick on affect for the rest of it.
Then again, it'll all be gentrified in a few years anyway

Or else Brexit will make a bollox of the economy and we'll be left with a delightful half built ghost estate in the middle of Inchicore.

Pats were bruuuuutal in the first half. The subs made a big difference with Lennon and the two Byrnes coming on and it was a much improved second half. Saints probably shaded the game although Limerick had a late goal ruled out.

Markey finally came looking for and demanded the ball in second half once Brennan went off.
Much better balance when Lennon is in there too. |

Think it's just the council going ahead with social housing and affordable rent houses, haven't went through exactly what the council has planned but coming from a council estate in Limerick myself I think they've missed a trick turning down the Pats bid with the social aspects for shopping centre and new stadium with the new town centre for inchicore that would have been developed. Big problem now for Pats is what happens if Kelleher calls it a day and leaves plus would he be owed any money if he leaves (assuming if the money he's invested were loans which would have been wiped clear if he was allowed redevelop Richmond Park for housing).

Much needed win last night, super goal from Ryan Brennan. Having Clarke in goals has made a big difference,th t team just feels more secure.

Not sure if this was covered but pats are losing some amount of money, €700k last year, completely unsustainable

It was the same story for his posts on Shams and Derry, it's a bad sign when the Euro qualifying teams are running up huge losses.

shush will ya. Some Pats fans get a bit nancy when people mention Kelleher and his money. The default response being something like we aren't worried so why are you, and isin't it nice that other fans take such an interest in our finances.

Pats went 3-5-2 tonight. Struggled a bit in the first half and Waterford had the better of it. Saints picked up in the second half and probably shaded the game but the score line was flattering. Two set piece goals from Leahy and one close range finish from Campion who had a decent game. Good to see two up top as scoring goals has been an issue all year. |

Excellent win tonight, agreed the score line flattered us but how many times this season have we been the better team and got nothing from the game.Having Campion up front makes a big difference
