Just catching up on Soccer Republic, the first 2 goals of the Pats/Derry game sums up everything good and bad about Pats.

Some brilliant goals in the game, notably the 1st, Thomas Byrne's and Markey's goals.

4 wins likely to be followed by 4 defeats now, simply not enough goals in this team

Need to be some attacking team to keep scoring enough to offset the goals they've started to leak

July transfer market will be huge for us, think 4th and Europe is there for us if we get it right, I'd take advantage of a bad situation at limerick if we could afford to take 2 or 3 I would but clarke would be a priority

Don't forget 4th place is only good for Europe if one of the top 4 win the cup.

Looks like pats have thrown the current Richmond Park into the Richmond arena mix which will increase the total number of housing units by 60 to 500 and still leave room for the stadium and shop development. The club will also match the 50% social and affordable proposed under the councils current plans.

This seems like a no brainer.

Very disappointing outcome considering this was on effect a land swap which allowed as many houses to be built over a larger area while also meeting the social and affordable goals of the Council . You now have as many units going into the same area as was there in Michael's hayday with no amenities and a rundown village that contains very few amenities. Can't help but think this is very shortsighted from DCC
