Here's the Tommie Gorman piece.
People might no realise but Tommie is Rovers fanatic. Story goes that he woke up out of an operations once and the first things he said was 'how did the Rovers game go?' There is a lot of talk about new clubs here and there at the moment. If they are going to succeed then they need to start passing traditions, memories, love of a club down through the generations. That's the only way new clubs will survive long term. Thankfully we have that a plenty. Edited by GoneToShowgies - 16 Nov 2020 at 2:35pm |

A couple of Sligo Rovers productions in the off season. One official, one made by fans. Really well made imo.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZ75CCmWOis ; Sligo Rovers new Outdoor Museum https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRxtE2aqVZ8 ; Shine: A Sligo Rovers documentary. In case anybody wondering on the name of the documentary 'Shine'. The legendary Rovers volunteer Johnny Chadda had a poem about Rovers with a line that said 'Sligo Rovers will shine and shine forever'. Edited by GoneToShowgies - 25 Feb 2021 at 10:32am |

Rovers looking very good at times tonight. I think they could be the most likely challenger to Dundalk and Shams. Apart from Finn Harps that is.

Ya a few dodgy moments at the back there alright. Id prefer they had their names squeezed in somewhere on the back of the shirt though. Possibly under the number like they do in some european leagues.

Haha how nice it is to have Harps as part of that. I know we are only there for the craic as no one things we will sustain it but fair play to Sligo they are a great club
