article here

Lads i have to say that Stan will not be sacked so barring two brutal results in the next two games he will be leading us into the World cup qualifiers.
I for one will be still berating him here for his mistakes but will still be getting behind him and the team for those matches.

We are unbeaten in croke park and if we keep that up and improve our away form then we will almost certainly qualify.

Draw for World Cup groups is November 24........ BRING IT ON !!!

Sadly it looks inevitable that Stan will still be in charge as we head into the 2010 qualifiers so lets hope at least we get a decent draw.

Good oul Bobby, great admiration for the man.

Its all well and good putting the blinkers on Roger but I just cant get past the ineptitude of Stan's decision making with tactics and team selection, just absolute nonsense! He has to go before submitting us to another 2 years of heartbreaking disappoinments, empty pockets and broken dreams! He has to go now!

there is not a chance we will qualify for the world cup. this qualifying campaign was our best bet in years because the first two automatically go tru. for the world cup  there is a playoff for second place. can you really see ireland winning any group we are drawn in. and we dont exactly have the best record in playoffs.

My point is he isn't going to go or be sacked so we need to get with the programme. I dont mind the lads who booed his name at half time but i wouldnt be one of them. I'm looking forward to the draw and for stan to be sacked in the next campaign then it would mean some terrible results. No one wants that so lets hope it doesnt happen.

Sadly he will be in charge barring a disaster(which will not happen).

Therefore im hoping that he gets some quality in beside him in the dressing room. When Bobby leaves hes on his own with that mcdonald plonker! I just hope that hes not as thick minded as he seems and brings someone in....
This is our f**king country we're talking about - Keano

Its not STAN we should be after...Its Delaney. He's the muppet with the 4 year plan and no way now he is going back on his word.

If Delaney goes, so will STAN.

Agree RM.........Lets get behind the team on Wednesday - We should at least win our last two games of the group

Its important we do get behind the lads., were still  unbeaten at croke and altho it wont be full - the ahrd core will still be loyal and attend to support the team

Then lets see who we get in the draw for the W.C Qualifiers and how we Progress in that ...........be interesting to see the U21's tonight - were a decent price at 7/2 with the bookies - worth a few euro that

I reckon we will qualify - we always do when its miles away and expensive.
