Some bread for the likes of Kevin’s to be forking out....what would a technical director of a schoolboy club do???I heard he was heavily involved in the fees Kevin’s got from players going over the water.

I can't actually find anything online to back up my post about the possible money that AC was on so I could be miles off. Might be a case of Chinese whispers.

I had heard a fairly similar figure to what you quoted.

Woukdnt say a shift in power. They lack of action in the ddsl hasn’t helped. Your standard DOF would be on circa 100e per week. I know a few who left their positions during the original lockdown last year. Clubs didn’t have the money to be paying out while there was little income and no training/matches.

I wouldn't know the ins and outs tbh BSM, but I do know that a lot of managers/coaches don't get paid up there. Most are doing it for the love of the game and the experience of working at an established club (I was one of them)

I still stand by my comment on Duffer eventually taking over at Shels as manager, once the club move to Dayler in a few years that will be huge. Currently the club are putting the foundations in place to have a ready made supply of young talent coming through and I could see him overseeing it.
