Fantastic player for us. Wish bim the best. It is the right decision though. Shame he bowed out on such a low on the biggest stage.

All great things have to come to an end unfortunatly, absolute legend for the team with total commitment to the cause and a truely world class keeper at his peak.

Hope we will see him in the singing section in the near future Thumbs UpCool

Gutted. What a legend he has been.

Nothing must have changed in the Ireland camp since the Euros to say Shay Given has called it a day. Sad way for him to retire.

One of my sporting heros. A huge loss to Irish football.

Legend. Gutted to see him go though. Hopefully Westwood can get a few games at Sunderland and settle his place in the team quickly. Never good to have uncertainty over who the number one goalkeeper is.

Fully agree he deserves some form of farewell match.

Gutted to see him go. Class act Shay Clap

Can't look any further then Westwood but fingers crossed Henderson gets the nod for West Ham and impresses. Competition for places is always good.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.
