Never met him but always came across as a nice guy. It's annoying seeing so many ex internationals getting into media work instead of getting their hands dirty coaching. Especially ones like Given who are not particularly articulate and dont have much to say. Is it just my imagination or are there more Irish players becoming pundits than any other nation? We seem to have loads...

I've never heard anything particularly negative about Keane, he's perhaps a bit stand-offish at first which is why he doesn't always come across the best on tv, but any time I've met him he's been sound enough too.

Must be a nice pay day for TV work. The hours are good, and less stress than being involved in a club.
