A partnership where Shane Long is the prolific one has to be a worry. Mick will be playing one up front in march, because in his second incarnation as manager he's negative as fook.

The Mandrake post above! I'd love to see a Long and Didsy partnership with both playing regular Premier League football. They'd be a handful for any defence.

Connolly and Idah have 3gls each in all competitions, Long and Didsy 2 goals combined.

I just want to see two up front so I'd be happy With McGoldrick/Long, or some other combination. Having seen Slovakia's two qualifies against Wales and their home match against Crotia they look weak at the back, lacking a physical presence.

Skriniar is a fine defender, but other than they wouldn't be great at the back no. I'd fancy Long and McGoldrick to give them plenty of problems; but again, the questions are whether that would translate into a goal.

We're decent enough..
