I actually think this move has excellent potential, and it avoids what was potentially going to happen if he stayed at Brighton. It’s a PL move, and hopefully he sees a decent amount of game time.

Fully came on here and seeing the number of posts expected to see 'loan move to 'x' championship club'. To get a move to the Prem is great.
As some have said, could be a good fantasy signing if he is playing!

Himself and Adarabioyo would have to be one of the tallest centre back pairings in EPL history - they'll be expecting to score a few set piece goals if nothing else!

Duffy on the bench for Fulham vs Liverpool... which is probably for the best in this game.
Omobamidele starts for Norwich, with Keane and mcclean starting for Wigan in other news

Straight into the squad. He's on the bench but they're starting Tim Ream which has to be a combination of loyalty and Duffy not having trained enough with them. He will get in there alright. They're linked also with Vestergaard but I still think Duffy is capable of starting alongside one of Adarabaiyo, Ream and Vestergaard.

Fulham signing Issa Diop for big money. Hope I'm wrong but there's an awful bang of Marc Wilson's West Brom loan and Kevin Doyle's Crystal Palace loan off this, where it looks like he'll get barely any playing time.

Bar the keeper Fulhams bench is their U21s team. They'd have been better off starting their U21s who've been decent so far this season. Don't think Silva would be too pushed about the EFL Cup with filling the bench full of kids but is probably raging he didn't start them instead at this stage.
