Strong start for Ancelotti in his return to Serie A.
Beat Lazio this week in the opening game, beat Milan this week. Think Gattuso will be gone if he starts the season slowly, just the 3 wins in 11 competitive games since he was handed a new contract, while he was on a short-term he went 16 unbeaten

Beautiful tribute by Genoa fans on Sunday vs Empoli.
Remained silent for the first 43 minutes of the game |

Superb game at the Olimpico last night, 3-3 between Roma and Atalanta. Look out for Pastore's opening goal, great backheel finish. Antenucci against Parma, Belotti against Inter (the pass from Iago Falque especially) and Pjanic against Lazio other excellent goals from the weekend.
And then in more baffling news, Rolando Mandragora from Udinese could be banned for being caught blaspheming by tv cameras

First offence so he has just gotten a 1 game ban. Roma have sold Kevin Strootman to Marseille too, very good signing for them if he stays fit

Saw it last night, couldn't believe what I saw. Absolute world-class. One of those jaw-dropping moments that make you think 'did he really just do that!?'. |

Why did Roma let both Strootman and Nainggolan go?
If you look at their incomings you think there's a good squad being assembled, but then you look at the outgoings and you don't know where they're going. Milan battered them on Saturday too, the scoreline doesn't reflect how Milan could of had 3 or 4

Strootman I'm not sure about, but they were never going to put up much of a fight if a big bid came in for Nainggolan. Hes has so many problems with the people behind the scenes, and when Spaletti wanted him, a deal was always likely.
I see Marchisio has signed for Zenit today, good to see him stay in European football for now.

Douglas Costa spitting in the Sassuolo players face from close distance
The worst case of spitting I've ever seen! Disgusting, horrible man. Previously headbutted the same player before that also. Some ban incoming.
