With Seani and Bodins out for 2 and 6 months, its a great chance for Horgan and Burke to impress.

Not going to lie, bit gutted about this. Felt with a good pre season under his belt he would have hit the ground running and definitely knocked in a few with Preston pre the upcoming Internationals which would have guaranteed him minutes.

Again not saying we "need" him as such but he is probably the most natural finisher in the squad. We are light enough up top.

Of course we need him.

He's the only one we have that actually looks a natural striker. It's a no brainer given our current options up front..
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

If he's out for 2 months hopefully he will just be missing for Wales and Poland but back in action for the October matches.
Might be missing a bit of game time, shame this didn't happen in May, or not at all.

Hard luck on him. But with 46 game to play he hopefully  will still have a good season. Burke  might get in sooner now.

Hopefully he gets a proper run now as he’s more or less missed the first half of the season through injury. Would still rather Seanie Maguire firing on all cylinders than McGoldrick up front for us.

Still feel the type of player he is that he will get injured again and again. Like Micheal Owen or any any small player with that explosive hamstring speed. I hope I'm wrong but it seems that way.

Major concerns at Preston with the amount of players suffering the same injuries.

Yeah, Browne, Maguire and Robinson all out with hamstring injuries. Brandon Barker out recently with this injury too.

excellent news
