Deserves his own thread after breaking into Hulls team. Signed from Cork in the summer and spent 6 months with St.Mirren, seen him live for Cork in the cup final a few year back and was very impressed, left sided centre half who can play aswel as defend only 23 and was playing amatuer football only 3 years ago.

This lad is going to be a very good player. When he signed for Cork City me and a few other Cobh lads tried to get a price on him getting an Ireland senior cap within 5 years and no bastard would give us the price.

Sean's found the time in isolation to team up with his old band The Burma. Clap

Yet another CB getting game time in the Championship. He came on early in the second half for Hull against West Brom tonight.

Third appearance of the season, all as an early sub, and he has yet to concede during his time on the pitch.

They're a defensively leaky side, so hopefully he ends up getting starts sooner rather than later.

West Brom won 1-0 courtesy of a second half goal.

First start of the season and a clean sheet as Hull move out of the relegation zone with a victory.

Two starts and two clean sheets. Hopefully he's done enough to keep his place now.

Helps that they've won two on the trot.

U19 Defender Jevon Mills made his debut off the bench for Hull also!

He was outstanding for St Mirren when he played in the SPL. Very sporadic appearances for Hull since his return. If he had got the breaks that Jamie Mc Grath has had, who knows, but he'd need to get away from being a bit part player at Hull.

From the Hull Daily Mail.

Sean McLoughlin: Colossal in the heart of defence. Coped with the onslaught from Millwall late in the second half and looks like a player who City can’t be without. 8

Singled out again today as Hull extend their unbeaten record: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-player-ratings-against-6337511.amp

Looks like he's fast becoming another viable option for our backline.

Having an interesting game for Hull today against Stoke. Has made a serious amount of last ditch blocks and challenges - but his positioning at times has been really poor - completely lost his man for the first Stoke goal. Hard to know what to make of him going off this game - too many mistakes in him I think.

Well down the list for a centre back call up in any case.

Last ditch tackles look great and get the crowd going but I always think a defender must be out of position in the first place to have to resort to a last ditch.

More of the same in the second half, completely lost his man again at one stage to let Stoke in, this time it was (wrongly) flagged offside. Some more really good recovery work as well though, to be fair to him much of it was to bail out his teammates rather than his own mistakes.

The commentators seemed impressed by him, but some of the errors he made were fairly basic - ball watching was a big issue. If he could improve on that there might be an international player there because he couldn't be faulted for workrate or effort. But he doesn't look good enough at the moment.

Seems to be incredibly consistent per match ratings. He's for sure helped to shore up Hull's defense.

Could be an option for us in the future if he builds on this season, given Omobamidele's issues and O'Shea's lack of form.
