Let's not pretend that Colemans defending has been anything better than average of late.

As a result he's not guaranteed a place in the everton team.

Sadly since his leg break, he hasnt been as effective as he previously was and playing against Switzerland kinda showed that

Spot on. Not the same player since that terrible injury. Classic case of body unable to sign brain's cheques. Same with Robbie Brady. The original versions of these players are big losses to the team.

Pretty pathetic seeing people on social media saying how it is a good thing he is injured or it is a blessing in disguise, cause we have a decent player in that position anyway. Whatever you feel about Seamus Coleman and his form of late, Ireland needs its best players in the squad, we have zero luxury to bring in other players. He is still one of our better players and not having him involved is a major loss off the pitch as well as on it.

Absolutely. Nonsense for any fans to be pleased with his injury.

Some Football fans will always make disparaging remarks about underperforming  players on whatever platform. This isn’t a new phenomenon aimed at Seamus.

Comments aside, there are still questions as to whether we have a decent player in that position. Wing-back isn’t full-back and Doherty is going to look far better in an attack minded team. I can’t see Mick changing the formation either, despite it seeming to be a risk worth taking. We may well miss Coleman yet.
Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.

I don't think you've ever made a positive comment about any Irish footballer on this forum. Constantly whinging about something.

I really couldn't be arsed explaining it to you why your comments have nothing to do with what I'm saying.

Has defended brilliantly so far vs Liverpool. Really agressive and assertive.
