Came on after 10 minutes for Everton against Spurs and is having a very good game at right back even though Everton are losing two nil. Has made a couple of storming overlapping runs. Was very unlucky for the second goal, he made a brilliant covering block on Huddlestone which deflected out for a corner and spurs scored from it.

Just skinned Gareth Bale to set up Saha for an Everton goal. Getting a lot of praise from Andy Gray at the minute

Thought he should have been goal side of Crouch in the lead up to the Penalty. Other than that a very promising start. Hope he gets a few more games now |

We've always produced quality full backs albeit struggling at LB at the minute but wonder what it is about Ireland and full backs.

well let's start seeing it - I'm delighted lads like Coleman and O'Shea at Birmingham are taking their chance. We need as many options as possible. A good weekend for Ireland. Would be great if Barry Maguire comes on board now.
