            Sanchez sacked by Mexico

            Hugo Sanchez has been sacked as coach of Mexico.
The Mexican Football Federation (Femexfut) made the decision after
the under-23 team failed to qualify for the Beijing Olympic Games.
Femexfut president Justino Compean said: 'It has been unanimously
decided to terminate the relationship with the Mexican national team's
coaching staff.'

Sanchez, who replaced Ricardo Lavolpe in November after the 2006 World Cup, won 15, drew four and lost nine of 28 matches.
Jesus Ramirez has been placed in temporary charge.
