Good to see him playing down the left side and playing well. He's never going to be a centre back for us but should be a good option at left wing back given that Stevens and McClean are both into their 30s and Doherty will be needed on the right after Coleman finishes up.

Lovely cross ball to Ntcham to set up Swansea's extra time goal there. But then got done by Shane Long a minute later for the Southampton equaliser.
Excellent on the ball, but still some defensive positioning issues to work on.

When you say poorly found to be offside are you saying he wasn't because he was about two yards off?

This we had 3/4 lads who were completely amiss tonight before you'd even begin to comment on Manning. Poor from Ogbene straying offside too it was a lovely square cross to him. I do think we could do with and will be upgrading on this position in a few years..Joel Bagan was very good tonight for the 21s and is flying for Cardiff Ebosele too an option Adaramora shows distinct potential all undoubtedly have higher potential ceilings then Manning has certainly they'd have more ability to my eyes!

Doesnt work hard enough in the games I've seen, a bit like Doherty in his earlier Ireland games where he just doesnt looked all that arsed.
