Twas indeed Count. England 2-1 down now. Unbelievable! Devastated (from a Spurs POV) that Paul Robinson spilled the initial shot for the second goal.

As usual they harp on about being hard done by, blah de blah de fckn blah. Yes it was outside the box for the peno, but Rooney was offside for his goal. Evens itself out and serves them right for keeping "faith" with Robinson, he's been pants all season. No sympathy for them but Russia have to win in Israel, not easy.

It was that 0-0 draw at home with Macedonia that did it for England. Amazing to think that they'd only conceded 2 goals (in a single match) before last night yet they now need a huge favour to qualify.
