Are BT not showing the Marseille game tonight? Don't tell me that they've lost the rights to this as well?

I can see the niche in being able to watch it without a tv just online but the quality online is sh*te compared to HD TV and also the quality of coverage is terrible. There is also frequent buffering issues and technical faults just at the crucial time which is annoying as fook.   Eleven Sports coverage of the PGA was sh*te. No analysis or insights that Sky give.

I'm not sure why companies want to start up sports channels.  People cant subscribe to them all and just because Eleven Sports have La Liga I'd imagine only a very small percentage of people will get the channel purely for that.  If sky outbid them next time what then?   Most seem to go bust after a year or two such as Setanta, ESPN ...

Maybe the future is tv on facebook but watching on a laptop or tablet is sh*te compared to tv.  The only way it will be a success if it is as cheap as chips.  I wouldn't pay 15 euro  to watch an event online on a laptop anyway.

f**k Eleven Sports. I'd watch a lot of Spanish football, more than any other league, but there's no chance I'm subscribing to Eleven Sports. They are cheap enough, €7 a month but I'm not paying money to watch on my phone or a tablet. From what I've read on twitter, you can't even watch it on a laptop, only phone or tablet. BET365 have all the La Liga games on their streaming service to I'll just watch it on that.

I also give them no chance of surviving on a streaming only service. Free streams are easy enough to find. I'll pay to watch on a TV, not online. Also streams are generally 30 seconds to 2 minutes behind real time. If you've got notifications on your phone or gamble in-play, streaming is no use.

I signed up for the free trial for seven days. I had it on the laptop and connected it to the tv via a HDMI cable. It was perfect, definitely at least as good as SD, close to HD.

Fair enough. I read somewhere last week that it was only viewable through an app for phone or tablet. Still won't go near them though. I want them to fail. The more Sports content providers there is, the worse it is for consumers.

A monopoly, (Like Sky) having everything would be the worst possible outcome for the consumer.

I enjoy watching La Liga but I wouldn't be interested in getting involved with Eleven Sports too.
