Clicked onto page 220 teletext on Bob 2 Saturday morning to be greeting with Headline : " Sunderland Goalkeeper Found Dead"...What the fook ? Craig Gordan is dead! Clicked on page 221 to see what happened...
"Former Sunderland Goalkeeper, Tim Carter (who?) found dead in..."

Don’t know how RTE get teletext stuff but looks a lot like what’s on BBC usually from days before, remember a couple of years ago looking at the text on RTE after 5 people killed in a bus crash in Dublin on my route, nothing on RTE for a good few hours but BBC had a report within an hour of it happening, think they might just copy and paste from there and change a few words to avoid copyright problems, maybe that’s how they left the ex bit out Saturday.

Good points Justice, well done. Attention to detail in alot of RTE stuff leaves an awful lot to be desired.

Yeah i read it too and though wtf. I always thought Aertel was crap. Good for Irish news but the stories are always old and stay for too long. Always thought i could do a better job

They are brutal, doesnt surprise me, lost count of the amount of times theyve got footbal scores and scorers wrong over the years
