Duff with a big dig at the FAI there talking about the Scotland England game on Friday. 'If it was up to me, I'd definitely make a motivational video' 😂

The panel is gutter drivel at this stage. Absolute rock bottom devoid of any entertainment.

I used to start watching the minute the broadcast begins, watched all of half time and post match. Nowadays I'll just watch it on another channel.

Are all our commentators actually in the stadium or at home here? Thought the commentary from Hungary yesterday sounded room like. Anyone know?

Just saw a bit of the BBC last night before the Spain game and was impressed how they managed to get to show you more England goals when talking about Sweden v Spain .
" The last time Sweden were at the World Cup they were knocked out by England and here are the goals " I was waiting for Alf Ramsey's last holiday before the World Cup in 1966 was to Spain and here are the goals from the Final where England won the World cup 4-2 over Germany Angry

Duff and Doyle are light years ahead of the drivel dished up by itv and BBC.

Presume that's just for the home nations though?

Yes, for home nations matches only. Yesterday for instance, Emma Hayes was doing the co-commentary on Poland vs. Slovakia in St. Petersburg.  But she was in the ITV studio in London that evening as a pundit on their highlights show.

England and Scotland are both playing in the UK so only Wales are abroad. Not that much needed.

RTE commentators are all home-based, George Hamilton and Ray Houghton are going to London for the semis/finals (Ray lives in London anyway)

Well it is an British/English station and England are in the tournament.

If you don't like their coverage, watch it on RTE.

You wouldn't bat an eyelid if RTE did it and showed Ireland goals.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.
