As someone whose neighbour was done through the police and courts for child porn I can safely say their life and reputation were ruined without the need for social media.

But why film it and put it on social media and play the role of judge, jury and executioner?

Did you see the video of the Irish lad? They grabbed him and told him they are holding him for his own protection until the police arrive. They then question him about what he was doing. He was sending dic pics to what was meant to be a 13 year old girl. He was caught rapid.

Yeah saw that. Unbelievable stuff like. f**k moral high grounds and thoughts of vigilantism gone wild- out as many of the predators as possible. If it saves one young girl/boy from falling into their clutches then its great work.

Quite sceptical about the Police motives. One they cant condone what they term vigilantes so will always condemn it. The hunters state that rank and file are quite supportive. Second they are being shown up a bit and coming under pressure for 'not doing enough'. The stories on the guardian were dodgy as f**k- guy thought he was meeting an 18 year old but only got a txt when he got there saying she was 15 so he left only to be confronted outside? Doesnt sound plausable. As for the other guy- oh she said she was 11 but talked like an 18 year old so I thought I am being fooled shes obviously older. Thats the sh*ttest excuse I have ever heard.

Those who have a teenage daughter would probably have a different opinion to those who don't.
