Just said they’re trying to play a new way but need to learn how to win games
Didn’t praise the team much other than saying they’re young and seem to have a good spirit in the camp

He was also massively critical of Stephen Kenny and his coaching team for over-celebrating the goal.  Typical Keane, really.

Didn't watch him last night, what else did he say.
My comments above were from the Belgium match highlights

You'd think they'd have learned their lesson after Lennon.

Paul Rowan made no secret of Keane’s role in the Declan Rice exit in his piece at the weekend.

Talk of £150m transfer fees being paid for Rice. Yeah, he was going to stick with us only for Keane. And I could've been a model.

You're irish one day, you have an argument with Roy Keane and you suddenly feel English?

If he has an argument with Southgate will he feel irish again?

This nonsense is laughable

Paul Rowan has a reputation for stirring the pot. And he's been writing negative copy about MON and Roy for going on ten years now.

Paper never refused ink.

I genuinely believe that if the atmosphere in the Irish camp  - where young Declan received man of the match after man of the match in the summer of 2018 - was a happier place, then he’d still be belting out the soldiers song with gusto. Alas, it was an elongated period of misery after the Denmark capitulation and young Declan had his head turned by Sir Southgate.

Ah poor young Declan.Cry

There's plenty of sticks I'd like to beat Roy Keane with when it comes to the national team but this is one where it was Rice and Rice only that decided to defect to England irrespective of anything Keane or anyone else done.

It amazes me how much coverage Roy Keane gets just for being Roy Keane.

That's what you get when you're one of the greatest players Ireland has ever produced. Would have walked into any team in the world at his peak. Then throw in his decisive, highly opinionated and volatile personality.

That's without mentioning Saipan. It's hardly surprising he gets the coverage.

It amazes me when the basics in such a copy and paste article are not correct.

Keane is 51, not 49 and he played 480 games for United not the 326 listed.
