The organisers of this would want to come back down to reality quick smart.

I am all for promoting Irishness and your heritage and love a good Irish song etc but the way in which it is done here is just stupid. I dont think I have ever seen a Rose that came from a disadvantaged background or say one that was born to a single mother or one that doesnt have a degree in this or that, win or even get to the final stages. They flash down to the crowd and mam and dad are there smiling up like spa's. It doesnt represent the average Irish women. 

They need to represent more real people and families and also they need to chose people from countires outside of Ireland not Irish people living in those areas as most of them are in it for a flight home. Only one of the Australia Roses was actually from there this year. It would be better to see how these people promote their Irishness abroud imo. 

Its so weird and awkward its cringe worthy.
