It looks like the only way is TGV and, for the 30-odd minute journey, it's about €30 to Brussels. I sh*t you not.

€23.40 if you don't mind changing in Tournai.

A B&B in Syria would probably be a safer option

Booked into indigo Paris for the Sunday and Monday night. Looks like a decent enough campsite and its not far from the city centre. Anybody else staying here?

I've taken a punt on Air B an B studio apt 600 for 15 nights in the Porte de Versailles area. Not promoting this site but half the price of the hotel I had booked.  So it worth a look maybe. Basing myself there and taking train to Bordeaux and Lille and staying over night in hostel/hotel for the 2nd and 3rd matches.  Paris seems to be a bit easier to get sorted in . Bordeaux and Lille much tougher.

Anyone staying in Saint Denis?

Booked a place called Hotel Moderne, looks decent nothing fancy but decided to go for a place in Saint Denis so I can get an extra bit longer in the bed, no doubt nursing a hangover LOL

Think of the worst roughest place you've ever been and multiply it by 100.

SD84 any good links for Geneva to Paris tempted to fly but would like to ride the tracks heavily influenced by Heidi as a child so would like to see some Swiss countryside.

Stayed at Gare Du nord myself for the handball game and the O Shea game and never had any problems there. Honestly nothing worse than O Connell St on any evening.
