We booked a very nice 2 bedroom apartment in Arras for €515 for 4 nights. Arras is about 40km from lille. It looks like a nice spot but I don't know anything about the place. Anyone ever been?

Booked a three bed hotel room  in the Ibis Lille Ronchin for about €325. Its about 5 km from the city centre. Don't know anything about Lille, so if anyone has been some insight would be great.

Managed to get a hotel 7 miles outside of Lille for 2 of us. Price was 185 euros. Nothing in Lille itself unless you pay stupid money.

Paulie, I know lads who spent a semester here in college.

Will be meeting one of them on Friday so will get you the low down of arras.

He has some cracking stories from there which I will share with you over a beer.

Maybe check if your card has been pre authorised. If not then report it lost and get a new one before cancelling. Alternatively, you could offer the accom to someone on here. Loads looking for rooms in or near Lille

Here is a tip for train enquiry. Click on the user name super Dave. Then search all previous posts by this poster. That will answer any train query you have and not just for France Euro 2016 but for trains in general.

Oh trains for Bordeaux lille will be up fully in March. 5hr journey which is not bad. Flights available now with air France.
