Didn't see the interview
But one thing I will say on Robbie
....He is one of our most committed players, always gives 100 per cent. He maybe even tries too hard and that is the problem. Never cries off with injury etc like many players do
....His confidence in an Ireland shirt is low and it does not help by people getting on his back
....He did not appoint himself captain. And if if hands back the armband he will be accused of not wanting to captain his country.
...He is not missing chances on purpose!
...There are many people to point the finger at. Robbie is an easy target and it shows how fickle we can be.

Agree Ger, he does try his heart out but his confidence is so low at the moment that nothing is going right for him. i think he gets a bit too much stick.
Robbie's interview is at the start of the late late for anyone watchin the repeat later meaning you dont have to listen to that robot kenny for too long. unfortunately, the interview mightnt be worth stayin up for cos robbie talks a lot of sh1te

Ger, believe me I have been a fan of Robbie since he burst on the scene all those years ago but I really feel he shouldn't have said what he said on Friday. Changing wikipedia would never have my support either, but it's up to Robbie to start looking a bit more at himself and stop the posturing, moaning and the rest of the nonsense that has crept into his game.

To be honest i think many of the items he mentioned were spot on pity the plank didnt pin him down a bit more but most of the jornos covering our team are trying to sell papers and make up stories, Vincent Hogans article in the Indo today was as usual very good, we just havent got a very good team and Roy Keanes comments about our under 21 team doesnt augur well for the future either.
