If he can reach the standard of 2016 it'll be like getting a new player for ireland come March. Quality is definitely there, just needs to stay fit and injury free

Was surprised he was back in the squad considering he went off injured a couple of weeks ago. Maybe the substitution was precautionary.

Had a decent game and was mostly tidy in possession. The majority of his crosses hit the first man but he put one in during the first half that Wood missed a sitter from 10 yards out.

Have to admire him. His form can drop off but he does seem to work hard and raise his game. Be great if he could keep that form going for longer spells.

Looks to be getting a bit of form back which is good news, played well yesterday some decent crosses and looking to make things happen and kept possesion well, went at Arsenals defenders on a few occasions and had some joy. Long may it last hopefully stays fit.
