Yes quite right Roger I was doing me nut when Pekerman went all negative on it.  I'd backed Argies to win the World Cup and they should have.  Great to see them all turning up at the Copa America, if they don't win that, we may as well give up.

poor show by the brazilians though FW , deffo love to see the argies win it , just sad to see international football being devalued more and more , year by year .

Sorry ,shoulda qualified that by saying good to see all the Argies turning up, you're right Roger, too many of today's pampered prima donna mercenaries don't give a sh*te anymore about international ball or the fans who follow their country everywhere.

Sky have the whole tournament Live with highlights the following evening.  Apart from the weekend, the matches are 11.30pm and 1.50am give or take a few minutes, bloody unGodly hour they are.  Didn't see the 4-2 win and their last group game is 1.50am, fark that.  Dunno ko times for QF.  Some amount of goals in this tournament.  Crespo got injured probably out for the remainder.

Heard he's joining Atletico with Forlan.

Yeah had the Argies in WC06 in a double with Crespo as topscorer (18/1).

Pekerman obviously never heard the cliche about writing off the Germans.

Gutted I was.

Freewheeler - have you any aspirations about a trip to Buenos Aires. Trying to arrange one for next spring. The Bombonera, Boca v River Plate.

Was gonna go this autumn but Vienna/Bratislava/Prague was too good to miss.
