Yes is the word. Found it excellent when I was there.

You are getting the best rate.

I used it to avoid carrying cash as the notes look the same in the states.

It performs the same as if you have had an American Debit card over there as long as you top it up every so often.

You should definitely get one for the US. Everywhere accepts cards. You probably only need cash for tips.
Good exchange rates and no fees. You can top up quickly.
You can only withdraw €200 per month but just bring some cash, use this card as much as possible and withdraw if you need more.

Also some places in Dundalk take credit cards Thumbs Up

I might be wrong but I don't think you need cash for tips. Last time I was there you signed on your receipt the tip you were paying and they charged it on your card.

You can surely add your tip on to restaurant/taxi’s bills etc

But you always need dollars for the barman, room service, bellhop ... you have to tip everybody in America.

He wanted to go somewhere to see gun violence that you only see on tv.  So he's off to Drogheda this year.

Its a Mastercard, it can be used worldwide, except on the pitch.

Actually, just realised Slovakia uses the Euro.  No currency exchange rate probs!

They announced last week that they are moving their European payments team out of London to Ireland and Lithuania. Doubling their work force in Dublin as a result.

N26, another fintech bank announced this week that they are pulling out of the UK entirely citing Brexit and their inability to operate in the country with a EU banking licence post December 2020. 250,000 customers will have to go elsewhere.

Brexit, the gift that keeps on giving.

LOLLOL

This irritates me. I thought I'd be able to clear my bank account of my betting transactions when I got my Revolut card. That was a major disappointment.

That's why I got it too. Thought I could just transfer my weekly fun allowance to it so it clear the bank statement but found myself on day one queuing at the ATM beside Boylesports.

Ok it seems to depend on the bookies. I managed to lodge to PP just now but have been told B365 & skybet are blocked.

Works perfectly & instantly for me with Paddy Power. It’s actually the only reason why I bet with PP

That's good to know. I mainly use BET365 and it won't work with them. I've actually got a few quid in my PP account at the moment but the next time I top up, I'll try my Revolut card.
