Another successful Revolut experience the past two days at Cheltenham... There's surely some form of nobel prize in store for the founders of this glorious thing.

So, the Revolut card currently doesn't have China Yuan as an option.
Anybody know of any equivalent that does offer it ??

No worries, Chinese are a fickle bunch though so I would have a back up just to be sure, albeit the entire year I lived there I used an Irish Mastercard for cash without issue - never opened a bank account

I got a friend to sign up and she used her BOI account. She lodged 10euro yesterday and then sent a screen grab where BOI also charged here 1euro twice after this.

Anyone using BOI and do they have additional charges?

I'm with BOI and have never gotten additional charges. Assuming the only ones would be the ones added into my quarterly fees of 20c for each transaction or whatever it is

Thanks Darragh.

Thought it might have been a credit card she was using but it's a visa debit card. Strange

saved €8 on a Ryanair flight i booked last week. Ryanair converted the StG price to €35 (booked from Stansted so base price was in stg) i read their little spiel about guaranteed fx rates and opted out of it so ended up paying €27 via the revolut.

cant believe people are still banking with banks that charge fees to access their own money when there are alternative fee free options.

Im with PTSB. KBC (****s) are another. Also theres other options (anpost) whereby you pay a set fee but get money back on loads on stuff.Just a matter of a few mins looking online. I was paying €40-80 per quarter before I switched.
