The Revolut live chat has spoken:
The card will auto-convert your balance to the currency you're spending in at the best rate so there is no need to pre-purchase currency. You can currently only exchange between USD, GBP, EUR, PLN, CHF, DKK, NOK, SEK, RON, SGD, HKD, AUD, NZD, TRY, ILS, AED, CAD, HUF, INR, JPY, MAD, CZK, QAR, THB, and ZAR on the app.

We will be adding more base currencies later which you will be able to load onto your Revolut account and exchange to lock in a great rate.

In fairness, I used it to transfer £3150 Sterling today and it was a hundred quid cheaper than transferring through ulsterbank.

Dont bother Nvidic, hes been told numerous times how much people can save and i gave my own example pages back. He just doesnt get it so would rather try and mock those that do by witty €1 comments.

This card has saved me a bloody fortune since I started using it, absolutely top class and great for abroad if you don’t want to bring your own card out with you and have a set amount on the card and no concerns about getting skimmed.

I had to go to the bank to pay an invoice today to an American company. It cost me €37 in exchange fees and them about $5 in transfer fees. If they were signed up to Revolut it would’ve cost both of us nothing, would have been instantaneous, and I wouldn’t have had to spend 40 minutes queuing, only to deal with incompetent mouth-breathers, working off an archaic ulster bank system.
