Yep you just have to make sure which edge you swipe, not the one you cut your coke with

A few that spring to mind are:
Depending on your account fee structure with your Irish bank, you can transfer your disposable income in one go and use Revolut for your day to day spending thus saving on those bastard transaction fees that most banks now charge again, and you can also use it with ApplePay and GooglePay.

You can change the settings so that each purchase is rounded up to the nearest euro and then the extra is stored in a separate wallet as a savings function

Instantly transfer/receive funds to/from mates that have it and its instantly available to spend.

In Croatia at the moment. Took 1500 Kuna out which is about 200 euro. Always thought the daily cash withdrawal was 100 a day

its €200 monthly not daily on the free version. Theres a small fee after the €200 which in my case anyway, is still a lot less than withdrawing cash on my normal current account debit card.

This a new thing Shambo? I tried setting it up on Google pay about a year ago and it wouldn't let me. My bank (BOI) are still in the stone ages and haven't gotten up to speed on this yet, so it would be very handy with Revolut
I dont email the count anymore, its been 9 months : ( He even sent me a YBIG scarf for my Birthday

The N26 account is very handy that you get 5 free atm withdrawals per month with no limit, very easy to set up, have DD set up on it too and it sends you a notification when it is taken from your account.

I have applepay on it also along with revolut, never used either as would always have card.

How much should one lob onto this card for 5 days abroad?

i.e. is there an upper amount or does it not matter?

depends where youre going and what you intend doing. You can just top up more if you need to.

Top up as much as you want.. just remember the monthly €200 atm withdrawal limit

A tip for getting around the €200 monthly cash withdrawal limit is to try get cash back if you go in to a boozer or shop. No limit applies to usage so you won't get charged. Done it many a time when away
