I’ve mentioned this before , Jessie Stapleton not being in this squad is farcical. She is a future captain, potentially a 100 cap player. Stand out player in LOI past 2 years. 21 goals in 71 league games at centre half. Some of amount of deadweight in that squad with girls unattached. I think Pauw has this Dutch complex about her regarding her view on certain players. There is some really poor players in this 31 panel

Vera to be fair has said she’s giving a chance to fringe players to stake their claim before the squad is trimmed to 23, so maybe she’s just having a last look. Proper way to use friendlies f**k the win ratio just throw players in and see how they cope.

But the contractor is experiencing supply chain issues and its expected to be delayed by a couple weeks further.


How good does Tallaght look with the electronic display advertisment around the pitch. Makes it look more ten times better. Ya that stand for the size of it should be long finished.

The fourth choice keeper, Hayley Nolan,Chloe Mustaki,Lucy Quinn,Atkinson Mcloughlin and Saoirse Noonan won't make the squad with one or two other tight calls left.  

We are picking a 23 person squad,but only about 16 players have any chance of getting playing time. Stapleton definitely should have made the provisional squad, and I would prefer a homegrown young player like Mcloughlin go than Farrely who is 33 and won't be at the next euros

Apparently they are taking 4 keepers which doesn’t make sense! Mustaki would be very unlucky to miss out.

the fourth keeper (strange plan)  narrows it down a bit..but Aoife Mannion's fitness could change that....
Chloe Mustaki I rekon will make the cut....
did Lucy Quinn do enough v Zambia to be on the plane...?

on a side note
is the game v France "A SELL OUT" ?????
from west stand it looked like about 500 ish empty seats in east....south looked pretty full....west similar to east or more .....

Aoife Mannion, Megan Campbell, Leann Kiernan and Jamie Finn all apparently going to miss out according to the Irish Examiner.

Finn and Campbell surprises I would have thought. Less so Mannion and Kiernan given their recent injury issues
