Whatever about not having enough caps for the 200 turning up on Saturday, a full presentation on the pitch prior to kick off or at HT is unrealistic. Team warm ups, etc would make ot impossible. HT would be ideal but not for 200.

He doesn't permit any weight training whatsoever, which ties in nicely with some of the criticism Pauw has received in the past from players who felt physically under-prepared for games due to her training regime. On the Gary Speed link, Verheijen went public a couple of days after his funeral saying that the FAW should give him the managerial role as "it was Speed's dream for him to have it". That's the kind of bottom feeder you're dealing with.

Probably wishing they didn't bother now though.

I doubt this is true.  He seems to preach periodisation which is doing weigh training at certain times and resting other times.  The article seems to suggest he fears alot of ACLs are caused by overtraining prior to tournaments etc.. Alot of these guys have their own theories and beliefs. The women's team seems to be toxic, full of bitching and moaning.  The whole uproar seems to be a case of ''we dont like her methods'' ''we dont like her personality'' She's the manager and while she is the manager you do what she says even of you disagree with it. Absolutely pathetic carry on going behind her back to complain and trying to get her ousted.  They are turning into a laughing stock and have lost an awful lot of goodwill from the general public.

I would suspect a far greater percentage of those who have watched women’s football before we qualified are the ones who have played that Vera Pauw had to go and understand where the players are coming from.  

It's unreal how absolutely brainless some of the comments on here are. Trying to convince themselves that Pauw not getting her contract renewed was soley down to a few players spitting their dummy out and nothing to do whatsoever with all the issues outside of this. Thick as pig sh*te wouldn't do it justice.
