It was less boring without them in the top flight. Celtic have won everything since Rangers first got promoted to the top tier, while they were in the lower leagues the cups were being shared around.
True but definetely more excitement at start of the season, you not agree?
No.

So why is there a spike in interest, hype and build up among Celtic fans (both on here and elsewhere) in the weeks before a Celtic v Sevco game, as opposed to one against St johnstone or Motherwell?

if they die a 2nd time there should be no way back for them this time, but i suspect they will use the CVA route this time as going nuclear would likely kill the newco

Fair enough.

It would suggest from Celtic's average attendance figures from recent years that their fans find it more exciting when Rangers/Secvo/Whatever you want to call them, are in the league.

The funny thing about it is that, Celtic after completing a treble treble, Rangers fans etc still believe they are the better team.

Last year was the first time they ever finished second.
It was far across the sea,

He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

The club you are referring too was liquidated in 2012.

The club I am referring to is the new Rangers.

How come sky sports, bbc, etc say rangers are going for 55 titles this year?

I don't think they'll be competing for a Championship but if they want to go for more titles that's fair play to em I'd say as they have plenty already.

Titles such as; Zombies, huns, arseholes, malding men, scum, universal credit huggers.

why do you all seem to hate this “new” club? What did they ever do to yours?

Anyways, you should be cheering them on as it’s good for the ranking points, if you’d want Celtic to enter in the later rounds of the champions league then you need rangers and the others to do well in Europe

What would also help if the likes of Kilmarnock didnt lose to Welsh teams.
Hardly an appeal for broadcasters to show more Scottish domestic games

A very telling comment from Slippy G last night....

“I can’t have any ill-discipline because I didn’t trust the officials tonight".

Aye as opposed having ill-discipline and being able to "trust" the officials, like in Scotland...

Be interesting to see if there's any action taken against sevco after the zombies pitch invasion and damaging the disabled section yesterday.

Likely not, nothing happened when Celtic fans had a pitch invasion there last season.
