Has won it more times than Fergie, Pep & Jose.

Obviously as no-one as won it more times than ZiZou.
He's equal with Bob Paisley and Carlo Ancelotti.

I do wonder though how much influence he actually has on the team.
Is he just a Mister or does he coach.

The only one in that group that would be considered old enough would be Ronnie.

Modric and Ramos won't be effected by their age for another 1-2 years I'd say.

People going on like taking over Real will be the hardest job in football, get a grip.

That's the key defender (Ramos), the key midfielder (Modric) and the key forward (Ronaldo)... all certain not to get better. All three are either at the peak of their game or already on the way down from it. Even if they last another one to two years at their peak, which is far from guaranteed, they will need replaced soon and it's better to replace them before the decline is obvious, rather than after.

And add in the fact, of course, that the manager won't have any say over who comes in to replace them and the job becomes all the more obviously a poisoned chalice.

They'll never be able to replace Ronaldo but they have more than enough talent to make up for his absence in Isco, Bale, Asensio.

With regards the other two, they'll be hard to replace also but I think Erikson would be a great replacement for Modric. Don't they also have that Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard? Ramos is a tough one, they always struggle when he doesn't play but I think he'll still be playing for another 2 years there at least.

Martin Odegaard is hardly setting the world alight at Heerenveen.

When you consider that our own Jack Byrne was doing relatively well in the same division. It might give some perspective.

Odegaard is now 19. Our own Declan Rice seems to have made a meteoric rise in comparison.

Think he will be a great appointment, good news for Asensio and especially Isco, hope he leaves De Gea alone mind.

Hard to say. Obviously he has a great record with developing younger players, and Madrid have a good few of them these days. But his club experience consists of 2 years with Porto, and very little else. Going from that to Real Madrid is a gigantic step.

Julen Lopetegui on Bale in 2015, “A player at Real Madrid has to give 100% all the time. If he doesn’t then he might as well leave. La Liga is totally different to the Premier League. A player like that wouldn’t get into my team.”

What does something he allegedly said 3 years ago have to do with it now?

He's managing Bale now and 3 years ago he allegedly said he wouldn't get into his team.

Might just be a bit relevant.

Reports saying Real Madrid considering a £88m bid from Juve for Christiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo apparently is keen on the move.
