Luis Enrique? Out of work at the moment but open to offers. Wins the treble in his first season, and the double in his second one, so like Zidane, should have no trouble in finding another job.

Poch may be on Real's shortlist, but he certainly won't be at (or even near?) the top of the list.

Fact is, a club like Real will pretty much have their pick of all the available top managers worldwide, which includes several who have more extensive CV's than Poch (proven trophy winners, basically, inc CL).

Therefore I'd very much doubt he's get the job at this stage. But another three or four seasons, whether at Spurs or elsewhere, and he could just get the gig provided he wins some trophies..

As for Kane, one of the English papers had a big splash last week saying Kane could sign for Real for £200m etc. It went on at length about how Peres wants to replace "BBC" (Bale, Benzema, CR7) with three new strikers, inc Kane in place of Benzema etc. (I think the others were Neymar and Mbappe?)

Then when you read through to the bottom, it slipped out that Lewandowski was actually their chief target as No.9, implying that Kane was merely a possible back-up.

Of course, if Spurs had a big run in the CL, inc Kane banging in a load, that could move both of them up the list. But even there, if Real went for Poch, he personally would have no great say in whether they also signed Kane or not - Real coaches, esp new ones, are essentially told who they'll get to work with.

Perez may not have considered Isco initially were it not for ZZ's suggestion.
But I'd personally doubt that he "didn't want" to buy him.
For regardless of ZZ's "legendary" status, and close relationship with Perez etc, in the end, he's a paid employee, whereas Perez is the billionaire owner, with an ego to match.
Which is why Perez will sack him, if/when he reckons the time has come.
And that could be after a defeat by PSG next month - if not before:

If Juande Ramos can be sacked by Spurs and take over at Real Madrid, I think Pochetinno would have a shot..

Fair point.

But as against that, Ramos had previously had an excellent, winning record at Sevilla before Spurs (two UEFA Cups, two Super Cups, a Copa Del Rey and CL qualification etc). Also won a League Cup at Spurs!

And the fact that he was out-of-work (i.e. immediately available) when Schuster left the Bernabeu in December, but still only lasted 6 months, suggests he may have been a stop-gap, or even a panic, appointment?

The daily mail are reporting this today.

However they also say Real will sign Hazard, Kane and De Gea this summer.
I’d say that trio would set you back close to €500M

Kane is under contract til 2022. De Gea is under contract until 2019 but there's a one year club option til 2020 there. Hazard is also under contract til 2020.

Kane has six or seven peak years left, De Gea something similar if not more, and Hazard about four or five.

Kane is easily world transfer record territory - probably around £120m. De Gea is a bit less, but again world record for a keeper, more like £50m to £60m. Hazard is definitely less than Kane and maybe even less than Coutinho (because he's younger) but the fee is probably in the region of £80m.

Before wages, the transfer fees are pushing towards €300m. Not sure €500m is anywhere near accurate.

I would be sick if United sold De Gea for as little as £60m.

Real won't want to lose the only player they have who can rival Messi in the Galactico Stakes. If they did, the only alternative would be to sign Neymar, and if PSG dig their heels in, it's hard to see how they'd get him.

And even if they did get Neymar, you'd have to wonder whether Ronaldo's ego would allow him to share a dressing room with him.

Fact is, for Ronaldo to leave Real would seem like a step down, regardless of where he goes.

And with the way he talks about playing til he's 40 etc, he could never admit to that:

You need to add in the fact those three clubs don’t need/want to sell.

All three would be worth over €100M in today’s world.
De Gea is the best GK in the world and not yet at his prime. Man U would be crazy to sell for less that that.
You won’t get Kane or Hazard with a bid of €120M.

How do we know De Gea hasn't reached his prime yet?

He has improved so much since he came to Man U and 27 is still young for a goal keeper.
He has loads of experience now so his best years should be ahead of him.
