Doyle Stokes
Tough call as I reckon McGeady and O'Dea should get the nod except Hunt did well when he came on. ODea I would put in at left back instead of O'Shea but its massive game and although hes muck hes got more experience and I think this will count for a lot for this game.
If the gaffer goes tactics mad again which could easily happen, I reckon he could start Duff up front again and get McGeady in there on the wing instead with Hunt. I think they'll need to score goals as I cant see Slovakia not scoring against us -------------

Here is the team I would like to see but have a feeling it'll be much the same as Saturday's team, only with Doyle in for Keane. God Staunton annoy's me so much!

long shouldnt get a sniff Don Quayballs.... he plays reserve football with Reading. Good player but need someone whose getting first team action leading from the front. As for Stokes? Connolly gets his game for Sunderland ahead of him and scores more goals! -------------

Liam Miller is muck anyway and shouldnt be near the squad. Only hearing his name float about cause Roy is getting his throwing his tupences worth in at Stan an the media.
I'd even play O Shea before Miller in the Middle, thats how much I rate Miller! -------------

I'm not gonna get into a row about the merits of Liam Miller vs John O'Shea but my point is that either one of them is a better option than kilbane.

Kilbane has done a good job for Ireland over the years as did Stan but there better quality out there now. In fairness about Kilbane though no matter how average he is, hes one of the players who in every game gives a sh*te and gets stuck in! -------------

Regarding O'Sheas inclusion, I honestly feel a Supervalu trolley with a wonkey wheel plonked out on the right would be more effective as a form of defence, as long as trolleyface was exempt from the offside rule, obviously

If I have to watch another game of O'Shea kicking a ball aimlessily, I'll jump off Croker's roof. Come on, the team needs to be tailored to the strenghts of this team, pacy wingers, over-laping fullbacks, ball winning midfiilders and cunning strikers.
