Anyone remember about 7 months ago when all the English media nd well informed pundits were call ing for Pearce to be manager for England? great memories and loyalty there!

Quality player and I reckon a good manager as theres serious heart there!

I am praying you are winding me up here Jimmy.
pearce is dicing with relegation with a club that should be challenging for Europe
In his wisdom he then decides to juggle two jobs with the England U21s.
Maybe he should concentrate on getting City safe first.
Heart doesn't win you games and it certainly doesn't make you a top manager.

Its not me who was saying that he should have been England manager, I couldnt give a sh*te who he manages. I do reckon heart wins you games though as players give a crap whether they win or not and are not just there for the bumper pay packet each week!

Heart alone doesnt make a good manager. A good manager knows tactics and how to motivate players. Heart does count but with out the rest its nothing. Heart and good footballing and tactical knowledge all together is what makes Martin O'Neill a good manager, heart alone is what makes Stuart Pearce an average one.

it was the meeja who built up Pearce, they've done it loads of times. ANyone remember David O'Leary being touted as the next manager of Man Yoo?
