Shamrock Rovers are playing a charity game against Veolia (Luas drivers etc) this Sunday at 3.0 in Tolka Park.

Veolia will have a couple of celebs playing like Bernard Dunne and Michael Carruth, plus, yes, GerKeano has scammed a place.

Looking forward to gracing the Tolka turf against Ireland's most famous club

no footgage HM, got a run out in the last 20 mins, good day.
Meyler, Cassidy, Clarke, Ferguson and Eoin Doyle all started for Rovers, who obviously won well

Rovers won 6-2 but it could of been 16-2 if they really wanted. It was only an hour long. A lot of the Luas lads don't play ball and it was just all for charity. Good day. Maybe in the future YBIG can organise a fans match against a league of Ireland team

Sounds good; reckon we'd have a decent side. Billy O'Toole used to be decent enough up front back in the schoolboy days until he became fat

Lads, best idea is to try n organise a match against other fans on away trips. We'd need a contact in another country but it would be great craic if it was sorted properly. I heard some lad was tryin to get this done against a few welsh lads this friday night but i dunno if it was sorted

Hang on, i'm more than capable and committed to holding off a gargle on an away trip - i've never drank the night before any match in about 6 yrs and never will especially not in a game where i'd be representing my country!....it's the likes of count i'd be worried about - he's hittin the bottle hard these days. and by the way ye ball0x, i aint the only one that'll be dropped by my club for goin on this trip!

It's just that no one in their right mind would buy a 99 in the 'lilac' so the strawberry sauce has just gone mouldy

dont diss the ilac soccerc, quality oul spot and has got a serious makeover since last year! Better not get too posh for the green sauce though or a letter will have to be sent!

Diss the 'lilac', impossible. Are those dodgy  mens  clothes shops like 'Unique' still there offering value for the fashion conscious young gentleman.

Makeover or no, the place is a dive, Anyone remember when it opened in '81 and how posh you felt going upstairs to Hallins Restaurant for chips, steak and kidley pie with baked beans or frozen peas  Evil%20Smile
