No ads showing for me, just the top half the screen is white.

I’d take a pic to show you but....

They're much bigger and the make it jump around unnecessarily, especially when you click on the "new posts" button on threads.

any chance you can make them a little smaller

Well the little x in the bottom corner is now explained. Poxy ads popping up on every page. Close it and it pops up again as soon as you open another page. Absolute pain in the hoop lads.

Site has got to be paid for. I just hope you aren't selling this space to lads using trackers or the like - I've had enough of looking at dodgy ads for Russian brides.

Ah yeah I know theres bills to be paid, but theres a line. Ads following you around the place is just damn annoying and will turn lads off, and i dont recall ever clicking an ad on any website

I don't see the obvious connection between visiting an Irish football site and an ad for 'The Lion King' musical.

Yeh, the ads at the bottom of the page are a pain. As Sham says the jumping of the page just as you try to click on a thread is f**king annoying.

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

The solution is to repeat your post about ten lines down. That way, when it jumps, the first part will jump to where the second part was.

Interesting algorithm running on this site. Yesterday I got a banner ad suggesting I consider breast augmentation surgery, today one urging me to purchase a Stannah stairlift. I'm not complaining, it's just a bit... strange.

I don't see the issue. Both give a visible lift.

They're a pain in the hold and coming up on laptop as well. Doesn't matter if you close them as they appear again. It also doesn't allow you to post while they are there. Will a pop up blocker sort this out?

Same as. They really need to look at their target market LOL

Can these be taken off? Very hard to use the site when they're popping up every 5 seconds

The ads will be personalised. I have personalised ads turned off, I know Google and the boys know what time I had a sh*t anyway but they scare the f**k out of me, so I get generic things that are usually based on location and such.

On the ad you don't like, click the triangle in the top right corner, you can select "stop seeing this ad" and then they'll stop showing the hearing aid one.

The ads on the bottom of the site make it a balls to log-in and a bigger balls to post.
I know Sheasy will be disgusted that my 500 words mocking his devotion to the Grab All Association was lost as inadvertently clicked on an advertisement for Waterski Ireland, but it does feel like a waste of a sh*te.
