yep you need to go to the Scandinavian embassy in Dublin to get one. they need 7 to 10 days to process your application.  if you haven't done it yet you need to do it today.

You actually need 2, the first to enter Denmark and the second to leave.

Make sure you get the second one or you may have be smuggled back home in a container of raw rashers.

No visa required, But your passport must have 2 years left on it or you will be refused entry at passport control.

The passport also needs to be clean of Swedish or Norwegian stamps. If there is evidence of you having traveled to Norway or Sweden in the previous seven years, you are likely to be refused entry or even arrested.

Do you still have to swear an oath of allegiance to the Emperor of Denmark before getting the visa?

I am having a lot of trouble getting Danish euro.  Any bank I have gone to has said they don't stock them.  A particularly nasty bank clerk laughed at me (but I think she was probably just having a bad day).  Does anybody have a clue where they will change my Irish euro to Danish euro?

Denmark, even though they are in the EU, never actually adopted the Euro as their currency so that is your mistake right there. I'd head back and ask for some Danish Lira and they should be able to sort you then.

I went to the embassy today and they told me that because I'm going via Sweden I have to get my visa from the government offices in Stockholm. They've given me a form which I have to fill out and present in Stolkholm.
