Just a reminder of pitch location etc for both players and fans with cans+abuse. Address : Ved Stadion 10, 2820 Gentofte, Denmark https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Gentofte+Sportspark/@55.7571107,12.5249996,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x46524de2f83ddef3:0xbcfc63f771a37fc7!8m2!3d55.7571107!4d12.5271883" rel="nofollow - Kick off Time : 2pm Get train/metro from Kobenhavn H to either Gentofte Station or Jaegerborg Station and its a 1k walk roughly from either to the stadium. Trains go every 10mins it seems and takes 20-30mins. Players to meet up at the central station around 12.30-12.45 roughly  Is then a train at 15:37 gets us back for 4pm into town. The pitch is outside of zones 1-4 it seems so probably best buying a 24hr pass on Saturday morning that will cover your transport to the pitch and possibly airport if going early on sunday------------- 1312 |

After initial discussions it would 90% have to be played around 12 on the Saturday but depends on you lot, if looking to play and commited to showing up get names down, should have 6 already if need be ------------- 1312 |

we played at 12.30 in Cardiff and it was fine time wise so i have no problem playing early afternoon on the Saturday if this goes ahead, no harm keeping off the sauce ------------- Why no wine??! |

It's too early ask them if there's a flood light pitch and play at 3/4pm - showered some beers and ready for the match. You might get your wish Vidic  Right, the only available pitch that is accessible by public transport that can be guaranteed is beside the Parken stadium, literally a stones throw from it. The problem is the Danish federation can only give us 2 kick off options - 1, 16.15 - 30mins a half so over by 17.30 and leaves 2hrs of drinking etc 2, 11am - again 30-45mins a half whatever we want but for the life of me I can't see this kick off time being too popular though perhaps the most feasible for those looking to go drinking soak up the atmosphere in town etc. There was a 3rd option but involves playing out in the suburbs and there is no public transport to the ground and no guarantees over kick off times there as well at this point. With this in mind, can lads who have names down to play let me know if they are happy to play at the 11am or 16:15 kick off time? In the meantime the Danes are going to see if they can get an earlier kick off time from the Danish Federation for us at this pitch by swapping one of the earlier bookings on the pitch. There is a store beside the pitch for players kit etc and we're looking at getting the fans team kit over again for this so you won't have too much kit with you hopefully ------------- 1312 |

Lads, Im not travelling to Denmark and have a set of gear from the Wales fans game (no.14) as most of the manky pigs never bothered going for a shower afterwards and I travelled home and washed it. Im based in Dublin City Centre for work if any one wants to meet up beforehand and bring it over to Copenhagen, there was a fair few sets missing last time, so dont want to add to the list. ------------- "Just put it up there..." |

MJD I know exactly what your saying but as is said, of the 2 options presented to me, the 11am one is the most suitable time to allow folk to get back into town and soak up the atmosphere before the game etc. Lets just hope they can get one of the earlier bookings (before 4.15 I mean) to swap with us. ------------- 1312 |

We seem to be split on the 11am or 2pm kick off here. I've asked is the 11am game still on the table as an option or does it now have to be this 2pm kick off. The location for the 2pm kick off looks to be a good bit of the city but the contact said its near the Parken Stadium so have also asked to clarify the exact location (when I google the name of it he gave me, it looks to be on a metro stop so nothing to panic about in terms of getting there and back). When I have all these details I'll make an executive decision on the time for the game (bribes of cans of Carlsberg may sway that decision)------------- 1312 |

Gentofte Stadion is the pitch location. Jaegersborg St. the closest station (how Deco would love to be there) I've had the Copenhagen mates check for me, its 1km from the pitch to the station and a train at 15:39 back to Vesterport Station arriving at 15:57 so we'll be back in the centre for 4pm, possibly also stops enroute to the Parken Stadion as well I imagine if folk wanted to go direct to there. ------------- 1312 |

No shops in that area they also told me, well very few and probably very few for stocking up on beer so I would advise restocking the beer supplies before we venture off ------------- 1312 |
