My housemate has just bought a couple of dogs.

Anyone have any idea for names?

Colin and Alfred, they are the names I always said I would call my dogs. Nigel, Jeremy, Dave, Jimmy and Paddy are contenders too though. It depends on the breed. It has to be a name you can shout in the park.

Dunno both times no dog in sight but I'd say you could imagine the stereotypical Mc G looking hound

They're both male. Cocker spaniel / poodle mix.

Casper (for the white one) and Oscar (sort of golden) have been chosen (not by me).

I wanted to call at least one of them Baxter (bark twice if you're in Milwaukee).
