2-4/Europe Dundalk, Rovers, Derry
Relegated Harps, Bohs, Drogs
1st winner Longford

Surprise package Bray in the short term. Decent, but completely unsustainable side
Disappointment Pats. Expectations are muted but I think they will stink the place up. One way or another Dundalk will be a weaker side and I think 4 is beyond them
Team most likely to get a * Athlone
First manager to go Keith Long

back to the predictions. If you cant hack it that someone thinks your team isn't up to it and want to 'call their bluff' with a wager, there's a fierce handy feature called Private Message. Take it there. That goes for anyone ejecting rattles over someone elses predictions.

I'm incapable of not putting City as winners, not based on much more than optimism.

Relegated: Drogheda, Harps, Bohs
1st winner: Blahs
PD top scorer: Maguire, unless he gets bought in the summer
Surprise package: Ramblers mounting a serious title challenge
Disappointment: Bohs getting relegated for the first time in their history

McCormack and Keohane are far from "not decent" from what Iv seen and we've kept anyone worth anything to us from last year bar Ogbene, but he didnt really feature either way. You dont have to go out and sign 8 new players every year to win a league, Dundalk have done three in a row based on stability and bringing in quality once another leaves.

As for Caulfield being a bullsh*tter, thats a matter of opinion, I think he's an immensely passionate LOI man who is learning his managerial trade after coming up from MSL, he showed last year he is willing to move on from the long ball game, we played some seriously good football at times. Iv spent some time in his company and if men like him and Brian Kerr were given the chance to develop the league we'd be in a far better position, FAI would never go for it though. I say that as someone who didnt fancy Caulfield in his first two years btw, he's changed my mind.

PD winner: City
2-4/Europe: Dundalk, Derry, Rovers
Relegated: Harps, Bohs, Limerick
1st winner: Longford
PD top scorer: Maguire
Surprise package: Drogheda
Disappointment: Pats
Team most likely to get a * : Bray and Waterford if they dont get promoted.

PD winner Dundalk
2-4/Europe Cork - Shams - Derry
Relegated Limerick - Finn Harps - Galway
1st winner Waterford
PD top scorer Sean Maguire
Surprise package Bray
Disappointment Bohs
Team most likely to get a * Athlone
First manager to go Keith Long, Bohs

I may need to replace Long with Bradley as the first manager to go. Why didn't he just go full Baraclough at Motherwell and say he could win the league LOL

"Overhauling Cork, he suggests, and taking second place might be the initial targets for what will be a much changed side with Bradley believing that the likes of http://www.irishtimes.com/search/search-7.1213540?tag_person=Ronan%20Finn&article=true" rel="nofollow - - Ryan Connolly and Mikey O’Connor can all make an immediate impact after which the club will look to keep improving.“Yeah, of course we can,” he says when asked if his side can finish higher than John Caulfield’s men in 2017"

PD winner - Dundalk
2-4/Europe - Cork City, Derry City, Sligo Rovers (FAI Cup Winners)
Relegated - Bray wanderers, Finn Harps, Drogheda Utd (10th - 12th placing)
1st winner - UCD AFC
PD top scorer - David McMillan
Relegated - Top scocer relegated? Killian Brennan
Surprise package - (1) Waterford Utd Cup Finalists, they beat Cork City in the 2nd round after CCFC returned from a UEFA EL Play-Off 2nd leg.  The pained conversation about the fixture started after the 3rd round 1st leg when the Rebels got a small advantage and wanted Waterford to change the fixture from the original weekend. Sunday Afternoon Football was The Blues simple response.

- (2) a surprise to me that 1st - 4th in Premier once again qualified for 4 European spots.  I didn't think it would be that regular.

- (3) UCD qualify for UEFA Youth League Qualifiers.  The third year of knock-out tournament for underage domestic Champions not competing in UEFA Youth League.
Disappointment - UCD not getting promoted.
Team most likely to get a * - Pepper Money to be mentioned in dispatches during Dáil Eireann questions.
First manager to go - I understood they prefer to be called Coaches now.

Think we could be in a little bit of bother. A serious lack of experience in our squad and we haven't replaced a couple of players. We need a leader and a couple of experienced LOI players to make a decent push this season. Hope to be proven wrong.

In reality its 11/10 for Cork to finish higher than Rovers, Pats and Derry......I'd imagine JC is going to be under serious pressure to win the league this season. Can he handle it ?

Dont bother cc.

I fancy City too but that’s an awful price. Anything can happen this season.

If McGuire got injured, city could finish fifth. That’s just the way it goes.

Awful odds for a season long bet if you're putting a lot of cash on it. You'd be better off doing a couple of decent bankers in a double. That way you only have to chew your fingernails for an afternoon and not for a whole season.

Cheers, their site seems to have improved a good bit.

It is worrying that City's squad is weaker now than it was at the end of the season.

Finn Harps 0-1 City
Galway 3-0 Drogs
St Pats 0-2 Bray
