Subject: Ryanair Scam on Facebook

I saw this sponsored Ryanair ad on Facebook. It was a weekly competition to win 500 euro worth of flights. I googled it to see if it was a scam before posting but nothing came up for it although I didnt search past the 1st page of google. Anyway I also thought that Facebook would have vetted any as they need to be approved before your advert can go online. So it was a 3 question survey. Asked how often I fly in a year, how often I go on holidays etc.. They ask for your mobile number to get sent a code to enter the competition. Now they are bombarding me with texts and to opt out you have to pay. I dont know what the charge is as it doesnt say so have delayed texting STOP. I'm afraid it could be a lot like 50 or 100 euro etc..
I went on this Ryanair facebook page and its fake. Was only set up a week ago.
I have tried blocking the number but it wont allow me. Anyway is there any way to stop this crowd messaging me without texting them?
Haven't fell for a scam like this since the wallet inspector

Just checked there and its a widespread scam. What they get out of it I dont know. MAybe its the text message money to opt out? Hopefully nothing worse.
I actually googled pinchecker.com as they were the advertising company running it and seemed legit. I should have googled Ryanair scam.
Don't worry I will be putting myself in the Thick Thread

Rang Tesco Mobile and they say they can't block it. Apparently this scam charges you 2.50 for every text message they send you. Got about 5 or 6 so far.

Have you a link to the scam?
Ring Tesco back and ask them how to block it alternatively threaten to cancel your account with them.

Their should also be a call blocking option on your phone too.

Rang Tesco and I was told to text STOP to the number. Costs 10c. The scam is every text message they send you costs you 2.50 to receive and I received 3 or 4 I reckon. They send you 3 or 4 a week until you opt out.
