We have at least 2 who should be in the premier league if Neil would let them leave.

What is the criteria to identify players who are playing in the EPL?

How many games have Gilmartin, Randolph and Lenihan played? as none of these are contributing to the EPL.

Randolph is a sub keeper though and will probably play some league cup games.

Gilmartin is there primarily as a coach to younger lads/media man or so I've heard.

And look how many Iceland had?

International football doesn't work based on what club you play for, Newcastle, Norwich, Villa are all bigger then Burnley yet they're in the Division below.

I don't look much into this, there is little between a top 6/8 Championship team and lower BPL side.

Ciaran Clark, could of went to the BPL but went to a far bigger club for example.

I don't look much into this.

Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.

It's not a benchmark to gauge how big the club is, that the players play for. But more an indication to what standard the players are playing in, week in week out. (If they get regular game time that is).

I'd much rather seeing our lads playing for Burnley or Hull against Spurs, Everton etc. than playing for Newcastle or Villa against Barnsley, Burton etc.
