IF we get trough on Wednesday night what is the story with tickets for the second round in lens or Lyon our two possible destinations. I know some people have the follow my team option but will another batch of tickets become available from the FAI or on the UEFA portal? Or are all tickets already sold and just have to buy of French or touts?

All sold out. I've 2 conditional tickets that I likely won't be able to use if someone wants them (from Dublin). Would be €110 for 2 (€55 each)

Does the person whose name is on the voucher not have to redeem it with their passport, I heard they were very strict on that.

Can change person who is collecting the 2nd phase tickets on Uefa.com I believe and enter a new person to collect with passport number etc.

Hi Guys

I have a Category 1 ticket no flights booked not sure yet what to do might sell. This is a voucher ticket have to swap for a ticket at the exchange point. Would consider selling however does the person named on the ticket have to collect how strict are they going to be with this?

afaik named person has to collect according to T&C. No idea if they're strict or not.

Would gladly take one if I could lay my hands on it

Ye it'd be a case of redeeming the voucher in lyon,. Have read on here before a letter from other person and a copy of their passport would suffice with all but name details blocked out or something to that effect.

So basically we wont have anyone in the stadium because the french will have bought the tickets knowing they would top the group

Will the FAI not get an allocation?

No too many of us could afford the follow your team option so support will be probably the smallest ever....

Will players Admin staff within the FAI even get tickets?

Its a big stadium and a real shame that we cant get what would be 20,000 out there if the tickets were available

Gave way 2 tix last night because was paid for them, no idea what could have got but it was getting some more fans in.

Exactly. We spend thousands traveling Europe supporting Ireland, there's no way in hell for an extra few quid many of us would miss this. The French have bought all the tickets knowing they'd top the group fs

exactly, people thinking paying above FV is a choice, i didnt choose to spend over 600 euro on 3 tickets so far but i did, not by choice but because i follow the team by whatever means i can, just like the FAI did in 94, they didnt want to pay touts but they did so GENUINE fans could get to the games in the USA, some people need to stop taking the morale high ground, one of the greatest results in our history last night ybig

We got an allocation from UEFA.  They were sold as conditional tickets and many that didn't get group games got conditional tickets for this round as there was little demand from our fans.

There will be more for the FAI but I doubt too many will be available.

Now quite a few with the conditional tickets may not be able to stay.  Lyon is more awkward than Lens for those now in Lille.

well you certainly don't come across as a genuine fan when you start off by offering to pay over fv on a forum where any spares are sold at fv

From fai
*France v Republic of Ireland Ticket Update**

Make sure that you don't miss the action by securing tickets through UEFA's portal for the Last 16 today from 14:00 CEST. The ticket sales will be on a first come, first served basis.

The portal is currently offline to prepare for the sales, and you will be able to join the queue at 13:45 CEST.

The FAI are currently in negotiations with UEFA regarding securing additional tickets. Further information will follow as we get it.

Same as myself. In at 5 past. Kept choosing different combinations but when chose add to basket it said they weren't available any more. Repeated this for 15 minutes and then got kicked out!

I have 2 tickets in the Ireland end for the France match.  Sadly I can go now.  Category 1.  Selling for face value of course which with the postage was 305 Euro so £235.  I am in North London, Stoke Newington so you would need to pick up.  You can't PM me as I don't have any points but give me an email address or number and I will contact you directly

Lads, I've 2 CAT 3 conditional ticket vouchers and not gonna be able to make it. They're on my in Dublin at the moment (working city center). Anyone want to take them? In the FAI end, €55 each. They need to be exchanged for actual tickets in Lyon.

Gonna send them over with a mate tomorrow lunchtime if there's no takers on here.

Does anyone know what the story is with conditional tickets please?  Must the registered name collect the tickets?

hello,
i´m from germany, but i had a season card at aviva stadium so i ordered with my fai number uefa tickets via UEFA/FIA. Now i have one ticket / voucher for the last 16 at lyon, but i am not able to go there.
Its category 4 for 25 Euro.
The UEFA says that it can ony be changed for a ticket by the ticket holder, but normally (last turnaments) it is no problem to change with copy of ID.
So if anyone is interested in this ticket/voucher you can get it for the face value 25 Euro.
I think for sending it, it is too late. I will be in Paris on saturday for the wales - northern ireland game.
Perhaps anyone is interested and able to pick it up there. Otherwise it can be picked up tomorrow in Germany (41363 Jüchen or 41564 Kaarst) please contact me by email Rene@bierstube.de
