good to see a section for Junior football

In Waterford Carrick United have strolled to their 11th Premier League in 16 seasons and  our 2nd team also won the 1A League. our 3rd team are tied for 2nd in the 1B League a point behind leaders Villa with 1 game left but are unlikely to move from top spot.
Very good year for us following on from last season winning Munster Junior, 1B & 2A leagues.

It has to be said bar it was a disappointing Premier league this year last seasons Champions Hib's never got going all season, Villa flattered to deceive and fell away. Tramore have fallen to pieces despite having an excellent squad in August. Southend could do better. Dungarvan and the Glass survived admirably. St Saviours have the 2 best strikers in the league but nearly folded half through the season and with 2 games to go are 4 points clear of St Joseph's who in reality were lucky to stay in the league at the end of last season. Carrick won it at their ease, top scoring and meanest defence haven't lost all season so far.
Ardagh Cup will be interesting Carrick host the Glass and the winners are way to Villa or Dungarvan. Hib's will fancy their chances of coming out of the other side.

Tramore Rangers were promoted to Premier ball next season despite finishing 2nd to Carrick as Carrick cannot have 2 teams in the one division.

Cheers I was assistant manager that day, everything went right for us including Derek O'Brien going off after 3 mins.
We were super prepared for that game - stayed in Ballyroe the night before as well.
We had travelled to watch Dynamo's on a couple of occasions, and our plan worked to a tee.
